Our story
More than twenty years ago, Arbonaut’s team believed that the future of forest inventory was in airborne and computer technologies. In 1998, as a leader in research and innovation, Arbonaut developed the first forest inventory tools in the world that detect individual trees from aerial and satellite imagery. These tools have ever since allowed us to combine the latest natural resource measurement technology with remote sensing data for broad digital insights into the forest environment. Following decades of knowledge and strong R&D, Arbonaut has achieved information integration and accessibility by designing tools for all aspects of timber resource data collection, analysis, and management.
